These terms are an agreement between you and PdfCook AI ("we", "us") about your use of the PdfCook AI Android app and its online services ("the service"). By using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. The service

PdfCook AI lets you view, create, edit, convert, scan and organise PDF and office documents, and offers AI features such as summaries, chatting with documents and filling forms. Some tools work offline on your phone; others send your file to our server, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of adulthood where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

3. Your account

• You can use the app as a guest, or sign in with your email or Google account.
• Keep access to your email and phone secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• If you sign in after using the app as a guest, your guest data moves to your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

4. Free, Pro and Max plans

• The free plan includes the offline tools and a daily number of uses of the online tools, and shows ads. We may change the free limits.
• Pro and Max are subscriptions bought through Google Play. They remove ads and unlock higher limits, the AI features and other benefits shown in the app at the time of purchase.
• Billing and renewal: the price and billing period are shown in Google Play before you buy. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it.
• Free trial: if a trial is offered, it turns into a paid subscription at its end unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
• Cancelling: cancel any time in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy.

5. Your files and content

• Your files stay yours. We claim no ownership of anything you open, create or upload.
• You give us only the permission needed to process your files to provide the features you ask for (for example converting, compressing or summarising them), and to keep them for the times described in the Privacy Policy.
• You are responsible for your files. Only use files you have the right to use.
• Keep your own backup of important documents. Server results are deleted automatically after a short time.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• process content that is illegal, or that infringes copyright or someone else's rights;
• remove passwords or protection from documents you are not allowed to open;
• create forged, fraudulent or misleading documents, or use the app to impersonate anyone;
• try to break, overload, reverse engineer or get around the limits or security of the service;
• use automated scripts or bots to access the service;
• resell or share the service or your paid plan with others.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

7. AI features

• AI summaries, chat answers, text read from scanned pages and form filling are produced automatically and can be wrong or incomplete.
• Always check the results, especially before you submit a filled form, sign a document or rely on a summary.
• AI results are not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
• AI features have usage limits, which may change.

8. Third-party services

The app works with services from other companies, such as Google Play, Google sign-in, Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive. Your use of those services is covered by their own terms.

9. Changes and availability

We keep improving PdfCook AI, so features may change, be added or be removed. We try to keep the service available, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control.

10. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that results will meet your needs.

11. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, PdfCook AI is not responsible for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, files, profits or business, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow us to limit.

12. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we have to by law. Sections 5, 10, 11 and 13 continue to apply after the agreement ends.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Pakistan, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring it where you live.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and tell you in the app about important changes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
